AA Milne’s books is the inspiration behind a musical that Two Beans Productions’ shall perform at the Scherr Forum Theatre, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks on March 29 at 11 am. Over the past decades many kids have grown up watching and reading about Christopher Robin and his animal friends from Milne’s books. Now all of the enchanting fun from the classic tales will come to fore in Two Beans Productions’ musical Winnie the Pooh. The Hundred Acre Wood is abuzz with activity and Pooh is at the center of all things happening, he has to complete his stoutness exercises and also has to meet Piglet and Eeyore who has lost his tail. Owl as always wants to share a piece of his mind while Rabbit plans on ways to play pranks on Kanga & Roo. Most importantly Pooh looks around for a ‘little smackeral of honey’.
Two Beans Productions’ musical Winnie the Pooh started touring in fall 2007. It is a faithful dramatization of A.A. Milne’s story and the musical has been written by Le Clanché du Rand, music by Allan J. Friedman, lyrics by A.A. Milne & Kristin Sergel.
