12th Annual Winnie's Hometown Festival in White River, Ontario

The White River Historical Society and the community of White River would like to invite you to the 12th Annual Winnie's Hometown Festival in White River, Ontario, Canada, celebrated August 18, 19 and 20 2000. This festival is a tribute to a black bear cub named Winnie who made an unforgettable contribution to children's literature. They encourage you to attend a fun-filled weekend in their little town, enriched with history and surrounded by breath-taking Northern Ontario scenery. This year's theme is "Winnie Looks to the Future". Come join them in the many events they have planned for the weekend, such as: two Parades, Octoberfest Refreshment Garden, Trade Show, Winnie the Pooh Fans & Friends Club and a Pooh Sticks Race.

There will also be many games and fun for the whole family on the days leading up to the Festival weekend. "Bee" there and have a Honey of a time!
