Pooh's honey helps build memory

Winnie the Pooh is not known to have sound memory and is a laid back character who hogs on honey never ever he can find some. And a new research has found that honey helps combat the effects of ageing. No wonder Pooh always looks so youthful. At the University of Waikato, in Hamilton, New Zealand, Nicola Starkey and Lynne Chepulis undertook this study and found that diets sweetened with honey may be beneficial in decreasing anxiety and improving memory during ageing. According to them the reason behind the benefits could be to the antioxidant properties of honey.
