Disney and Popley Group join hand to launch jewelry

Disney Consumer Products (DCP), Walt Disney Company’s merchandising arm has joined hands with Popley Group to launch a jewellery collection. Disney Consumer Products (India) director, Roshni Bakshi said that the limited edition jewellery range shows that the Disney brand is well recognized in India and its products had a broad based appeal with the Indian consumers.

The main target will be women and the jewellery range includes rings, earrings and neckpieces which will have designs from famous Disney characters like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and friends and also Disney princesses. The jewellery shall be available in gold and platinum along with diamonds and shall be priced at above Rs 25,000 or roughly $600 USD and more.

Director of Popley Group, Rajiv Popley said that at first the jewellery range shall be available at 4 outlets in Mumbai (formerly Bombay) and then gradually the merchandise shall be available all over India through exclusive outlets.
