Tigger socks costs school dearly!

December 22, 2007

In an incident involving a student wearing ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ character Tigger decorated socks to school and after being disciplined by the school authorities’ five parents sued the school. The Napa Valley Unified School District would now have to pay in excess of $90000 in legal fees. Nobody would have anything against ‘Tigger’ printed socks, and the school authorities wanted to send a message that during school timings all students are equal and there are no special exemptions for anyone. Well, A.A. Milne would have been saddened upon hearing such a piece of news.
