School to build a Pooh structure out of donated food

March 8, 2008

A high school in Monroeville, Indiana is planning to build a giant structure made out of donated cans of food.

Heritage High School will be building the Winnie the Pooh structure using cans in in the appropriate colours, such as using cans of tomato sauce. The project has been called Canstruction and many other local schools and businesses are joining in. To build the Canstruction, the team requires almost 10,000 cans!

The Canstruction will begin on April 18th and will take place at Glenbrook Mall. Winnie the Pooh will remain on display until the end of April and cans will be collected until 21st March. Just Pooh will be following this closely and post an update next month with some pictures!
