Poohsticks Bridge reopens!

June 10, 2001

All public rights of way in East Sussex, including Poohsticks Bridge, reopened on Friday 8 June 2001. Any notices in East Sussex saying a path is closed due to Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) precautions can be ignored. The vast majority of countryside sites and attractions have also reopened. However, there may be some that remain closed and it is advised that you contact the organisation controlling a site before visiting.
