Winnie the Pooh Reopens at Magic KingdomNovember 18, 2010
November 18th, 2010 was the day when Winnie the Pooh fans celebrated the reopening of one of Fantasyland's most beloved rides, 'The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh'. The refurbished attraction is surely to be the eye centre for people both old and young.
Amongst the different attractions, the one that is being touted as the main attraction is the redesigned local area along with the 'Hundred Acre Goods'. The 'Hundred Acre Goods', is a gift shop just outside the exit path where you can buy all sort of Pooh goodies from plush toys to apparels, collectables and memorabilia. The queue area showcases the very best of Disney Imagineering.
Amongst the new additions and the refurbishments is the giant tree that is sure you grab your attention as you round the bend from Tomorrowland, quite similar to the old Tea Cups ride. A closer look and you'll realize that there exist many interactive activities for kids of all ages.
Not to mention there is also the Tigger's Bouncy Place, where visitors can bounce up and down on springy and soft pads. Further there are special themed areas named Pooh's Hunny Hives, Rabbit's Garden and everyone's favorite Eeyore's Gloomy Place.
The attractions also include drum-like tree stumps to beat on and you should not be too surprised if small woodland creatures pop from the ground while you wait in the queue.
All in all it is an experience of a live time and if you happen to be a little Pooh fan then 'The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh' is place you must visit.
