Fake Winnie the Pooh toys trying to make their way into U.S. stores has been busted.
During a 2 day operation that was carried out in the area of San Luis Port and the area surrounding the port in San Luis, southwest of Yuma, U.S. Customs officers in coordination with the Border Protection force seized 125,000 counterfeit toys, valued at $800,000. This was revealed by David P. Higgerson, director of field operations for the federal agency.
There were 14 shipping containers that were carrying these toys and had arrived in Long Beach, California, from China en-route to Mexico.
