Pooh's Home is a perfect hiking destination

October 18, 2008

If you are an avid fan of hiking then Pooh's home in Ashdown Forest has been listed as being amongst the top 50 hiking stops in the world. The most cockle-warming is the chance to walk with Pooh and Piglet in the real-life Hundred Acre Wood, as said by an English national newspaper.

Chairman of the Conservators of Ashdown Fores,t Mr. Hew Prendergast, has this to say about Ashdown Forest - he said the views, openness, space, heathfield and wildlife all make Ashdown Forest a special place.

Everyone knows that this is the place where A.A. Milne's son Christopher Robin Milne played with his stuff toys and many of us have read his story books and poems but what a site it will be to visit the place in person see its beauty.
