3ft Winnie the Pooh returns back home

October 28, 2008

A model of the world's most adorable bear Winnie the Pooh has returned home in less than 24 hours after it was stolen. Thieves whose identity is yet to be established stole the 3ft figure of Winnie the Pooh by breaking into Storybook Glen, at Maryculter.

Within just 24 hours of the incident, staff at the park received a phone call that visitors had found the figure in a garden in Northfield, Aberdeen.

Jacquelyn Liddell, Managing Director at Storybook Glen said she was thrilled upon hearing the news that the figure had been found and was back to its home, but also said that she was frustrated that the park is being regularly targeted.
