Winnie the Pooh characters used to help kids understand dangerous situations

3 girls from the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School took part in the Students Taking Action with Recognition events at Orlando. Kelsey Carpenter, Taban Flores, Eliese Kendrick along with incoming eighth grader Olivia Kendrick had the opportunity to make oral presentations. Their project, named Play it Safe with Pooh and Friends, assisted children get updated on the possible dangers when speaking to strangers.

They all pressed upon the issue of safe side adults meaning any guardian that the child can keep in sight at all times. Each of the girls stopped over at all RULH's 1st grade classes, and then using Winnie the Pooh & characters to impart knowledge to kids on ways to remain safe in public.
