Christopher Robin's original toys

December 19, 2007

This piece of news is surely going to have everyone who loves or even knows a thing or two about Winnie the Pooh delighted. The original stuffed animals that the real Christopher Robin Milne played with are on display at the New York Public Library. Most of you would think that Winnie the Pooh and his friends Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and Kanga and Roo were just imaginary but that’s not the case they exist as real toys of the real Christopher Robin who as we all know was the son of the author of this magnificent children’s books i.e. Alan Alexander Milne.

The toys have been placed inside a glass case right in the middle of the children’s reading hall very carefully. This is very much required if we want to keep these toys in existence so that future generation children too have the chance to have a glimpse of how Winnie the Pooh came into being. These are lovely artefacts that are very precious to the lovers of Pooh.
