Tigger & Pooh to feature again

Just a month after being launched on Disney Channel’s ‘Playhouse Disney’, Winnie the Pooh’s novel animated show My Friends Tigger & Pooh will be there to enthral children for a second as well. Ever since hitting the screens on 12th May the show has attainted the #1 rank in kids’ age group 2-5 yrs old. Nancy Kanter, senior VP of original programming at Disney Channel said Disney was delighted to introduce a whole new generation of preschoolers to these amazing, fun loving characters.

The show circulates entirely around the classic stories of Milne namely, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and the rest of their friends. They have also introduced a new character in 6 year old Darby who has replaced the traditional character of Christopher Robin, Milne’s son for whom he wrote Winnie the Pooh for in the first place. These characters together form the “Super Sleuths” who undertake missions to solve problems.

My Friends Tigger & Pooh is now available internationally, including countries such as France and Canada.
