Disney's fine jewelry to be launched by Popley Group

Popley Group (India & UAE), a $116 million company has in association with Disney Consumer Products, India announced the launch of couture jewelry line. With this announcement Disney has for the first time ever entered into the fine jewelry segment.

The jewelry range includes rings, earrings and neckpieces which will have designs from famous Disney characters like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and friends and also Disney princesses. The jewelry will be a high end product, limited edition only, and will have merely 8-88 jewelry designs in each subdivision. International Gemological Institute which has its headquarters in Antwerp (Belgium) shall award certifications for the diamond while the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) shall award certifications for the plain gold used in the jewelry. Females aged 25 years and above would be the prospective customers. Not to mention that the jewelry shall be exquisitely crafted and consumers can expect Popley to bring their international expertise in retailing for this venture.

Popley Group has been awarded many major international awards for their fashionable and contemporary designs over a period of eighty years from various international councils and their product development expertise sets the standards in the Indian industry.

Disney Consumer Products (India) director, Roshni Bakshi said that the limited edition jewelry range shows that the Disney brand is well recognized in India and its products had a broad based appeal with the Indian consumers.
